Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1 of 5 Days Congo Nile Trail Hike:

We drive from Bralirwa to Cyimbiri with 1 Stop at Nyamyumba Hot Springs, here you will Experience traditional healing massage using traditional medicine, this will take us over one-hour before we continue to our main destination.

Day 2.

Transfer from Cyimbiri to Kinunu with 1 Stop at the Kinunu Base Camp,  You will have access to some of the small islands of the lake Kivu and participate in many other fun activities such as swimming and fishing in the lake Kivu.

Day 3.

At Kinunu Base Camp, expect a whole load of activities that might include Fishing, boating, swimming as well as community walks as you experience the way of life in the local Rwanda communities around Lake Kivu.

Day 4 of 5 Days Congo Nile Trail Hike.

Congo Nile to Rubengera with 1 Stop at  Les Chutes de Ndaba a stunning  100m-high waterfall. Expect to meet locals, especially kids who will tell you the legend of Ndaba’s honey and sing to you in exchange. It is a beautiful spot to stop for. Duration: 45 Minutes Admission Ticket Free

Day 5 of 5 Days Congo Nile Trail Hike.

Transfer from Karongi to Rubavu.
We will visit the Gishwati Forest National Park, On our way, expect to meet Primates like Chimpanzees, monkeys and various birds species.
