Hope And Lucy
The service was great with communications and arrived on time as promised with the defender of our dreams! I dont have any complaints about the car, it was so much fun and took us around from Kigali to Lake Kivu, up towards the Volcanoes National Park and back towards the city. It had done a fair few miles but got us safely around the city in style.
I really recommend working with crystal car hire. Super nice and personably and made everything really easy for us.
Value For Money!!
We hired a RAV4 from Alex for a week long trip through Rwanda and Uganda. Couldn’t have asked for a more efficient experience from start to finish. Good value and super friendly, Alex picked us up at the airport with the car and was very helpful. He was speedy with all our communications and we had such a good experience that we asked him to drop us at the airport for a very early flight rather than hail a cab.
Hired a rav4 for a week for a road trip from Kigali into Uganda taking in lake bunyoni, Queen Elizabeth national park as well as the crater lakes around fort portal. We hired the car at late notice which the company responded to very quickly and were able to include camping gear which allowed us to have some unforgettable nights in the national park in very close proximity to hippos, elephants and hyenas. The car was in great shape and was the latest rav4 (albeit with a slightly lower rear ground clearance). Our only problem was in Kigali, getting the car cleaned at the end, one of the cleaning guys managed to drive another rav4 into our door. Despite all this, a phone call later, Alex was on the scene in ten minutes and then calmly and d efficiently sorted it out before dropping us at our hotel.
I would highly recommend these guys and plan to use them again when we return to East Africa

Excellent car rental service
I have been in Rwanda 4 months ago for sports activities and rented a car at Crystal Car Hire. The service was very great and i appreciate.
My brother and I just spent 5 weeks in Rwanda and Uganda wildlife watching in 8 National Parks. I emailed about a dozen operators in advance to discuss rates/car options. We had pretty strict requirements – we wanted to be driving off-road, with early starts and late nights for prime animal spotting. We ended up using crystal car hire and were very glad we did – they were the cheapest (it seems $60ish USD per day is as good as it gets for anything decent – some companies quote triple that amount!), the Toyota Prado we had was in good condition, and the driver, James, was polite, honest, reliable, and served as a makeshift local guide and interpreter. Ugandan licence plates make Ugandan Park entry much cheaper, too. James met us in Kigali. Would recommend them in a heartbeat
i have been with my boyfriend last month in Rwanda and Uganda. So it was a great trip and i recommend that beautiful countries. For transport, we preferred to have a car+driver as we read that there aren’t many road signs and no gps available. It was affordable and we were very satisfied of the service : good car, good driver and good advices from the driver for visiting. The name of the company we have chosen is Karisimbisafaris and they have a website, so easy to contact them.
have a good trip to Rwanda
